The pandemic through me out of whack. I lost my rhythm and my habits from a health standpoint. Getting back to the gym and picking Nela was definitely the best choice for me. They are encouraging, friendy, and hold you accountable and have me back on track. I am slowly but surely getting back to where I was pre pandemic and thats all thanks to Nela.

I recently joined Nela Athletics because of the great reception I received during the my initial visit. Now that I am taking classes the staff and classmates are supportive. Coach Kyle encourages me rather than forcing me to do things that I am not ready for or can't do. Kyle listened to my concerns and needs and provides scale recommendations for the work out. For me joining this local business was just what I was looking for. UPDATE!!! 2+months and going strong. Making better improvements than I had hoped. Other members offer great support. I am very happy to be here

I have been doing CrossFit for a few years and have been to a few different gyms. This one is by far my favorite. Highly recommend checking them out. I have never had a coaching team keep such a close eye on my form. It helped me lift heavier and safer.

This gym has grown so much since it opened a few years ago and keeps getting better. Coaching is top-notch and the gym facility is great. It's nicer than your average box, but the right kind of vibe to get a great workout and not feel pampered and lazy like Equinox. The friends you'll make here are fantastic and they are very welcoming. Clean equipment, plenty of weights for all abilities, and easy parking. What else do you want from a neighborhood gym in NE LA? Members are from all athletic backgrounds and abilities...no feeling left out here!
