Two items that are to die for are the tacos de chile verde y chilaquiles verdes. That's it. They can't make a burrito for the life of them, the carne asada is cheap, the pastor is just spiced pork meat with adobo, the barbacoa is hit or miss, the chicken is subpar. Plus, they either drown them in salsa or crema. They can't make a straight up, eat with your hands Cali burrito or any other burrito, it's either served with sauce or crema and slices of avocado - so you have to eat it with knife and fork, what is this? Deep dish pizza? It's socal! Whatever happened to gripping your burrito, pouring salsa, and one handing it? None of the staff wear masks and I stopped going after realizing the I got pneumonia in October and bronchitis in Feb after going to that place. All in all, I lost 4 weeks of work after I visited and once I figured it was their lack of masks and unsanitary practices - none of the staff seems to ever wash their hands - I stopped coming. My buddy who would go with me reported getting real bad viral infections and the times coincided with mine. Avoid to-go and eat it in the car. The tortillas they use easily fall apart after 5 minutes and you have to fork your tacos (corn tortilla).

My son got sick after eating a Cuban sandwich. Spent the night and the next day throwing up ruined our trip to Disneyland. He said it tasted good when he ate it but sure wasn’t worth the price

Hidden gem in Costa Mesa. Drove past this place so many times and it wasn’t till a friend recommend this place that I stopped by. Now I’m hooked! Everything I’ve tried was great. The staff is also amazing and very friendly. Love this spot
