Today I had to handle some stressful business with the Social Security Administration Office & really dread going there. Once my hubby & I got there, around 1 pm’ish, there was a small line outside and a pleasant security guard at the door directing folks where to go & once checked in they only allow 1 person to be seated until your number is called… to my pleasant surprise “everyone” at the Ontario Social Security Office was amazing & super nice. I waited almost an hour, but once my number was called I spoke with Mr. Dee, And he handled and explained Everything perfectly to me & was very patient of my many questions and made me feel much better than prior to going to the office!!! I give Mr. Dee and the Office staff all 5 stars ⭐️!

Every time I call to complete my paperwork I get a different answer on what I will need to drop off. Extremely rude service, and completely unhelpful.

I paid priority mail to send my birth certificate, copy of ID, and marriage license all because they arent doing in person appointments for a name change. What a waste of time since I live in a city nearby. All to be denied even though I sent in all of the right documents??? What a waste of money and a HUGE INCONVENIENCE.

I was dreading dealing with an issue with our Medicare premium, attempted to call the number on the statement and was put on permanent-hold. Eventually gave up and called the Ontario office. About a 10 minute wait but the woman I spoke with (Ms. Estrella) was incredibly helpful and was able to understand and solve our issue in just a few minutes. Restores my faith.

You do not need to make an appt. unless you don't mind waiting 2 months for that appointment. Walk-ins mean waiting around an hour to talk to someone.

Appointments are for future dates. Like 2 months from now. Best to plan on spending a half day and wait in line to see an agent. It's actually pretty fast. I've had to go there 4 times in the last 6 months. The staff at the SS office are great! Even the security guard. Nice people. God bless you! 😄
