Pretty good beer selection, but a little limited. I had the margarita sour and the mocha stout. Sours are not typically my thing, but I did enjoy the margarita sour. The stout was also pretty tasty. The location was cool, and it had a bee hive inside to look at which was pretty cool! I would recommend a visit.

If you are in the Saranac/Lake Placid area this is THE PLACE to drink beers and mead! Everything is tasty and their love of the craft shows in what they make. The staff is top notch and the atmosphere is delightfully chill. If you want to drink ok beer in this area, go everywhere else. But if you want to drink great beer in this area, go to Hex and Hop!

My favorite brewery in the area. Something for everyone, IPAs and amazing Stout, good spurs and mead. And those pretzels are to die for.

Shark Man

Our family stopped at Hex and Hop for drinks and lunch during a fall 2021 trip to see the beautiful foliage in the area. The beers were absolutely perfect and the food was DELICIOUS!!! We were not expecting such an awesome experience from a seemingly out of the way brewery. TOTALLY WORTH THE STOP! Thank you to the friendly bartender and excellent chef. What a great way to spend an afternoon in ADK. See pictures!!!
