Update from recent visit: What a great place. Love the location being from out of town. Downtown was quiet with plenty of parking on a Saturday Saturday afternoon. The ambiance is nice, and the barrel tender was fabulous. She was friendly and attentive and told us about Oktoberfest in September. Many choices and great selection. Personally loved there were two options of dry or sweet for seltzers. The Guten Morgen beer was divine. Definitely a must stop. Great ambiance. Great selection of beers. Definitely worth a stop by.

Very good place. Beers were excellent, food was fantastic. Try the potato pancakes they are out of this world. Easy to find and the other customers were really fun.

My partner and I stopped in during some down time and tried all of the beers on the menu(as well as the sweet version of the dragon fruit seltzer). Every single brew we had was fantastic, and the fries were absolutely perfect. The building the brewery is in is incredibly cool. Every corner is interesting, unique, and just beautiful to look at and exist in. The bartender knew so much about the history of Utica, as well as the building Bagg Square Brewing is in. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good beer(or seltzer), as well as food!

I'm thoroughly impressed. They did a wonderful job getting this place set-up. From the inside bar, to the dining area, to the outdoor patio, they've created a perfect atmosphere. Right across from the historic train station - one of Utica's gems - certainly helps. Both food and drink were excellent. In particular, I had the pretzel with the three specialty dips. Extraordinarily tasty. I also had a flight. The Golden Ale and Raspberry were superb. I was waiting for this brewery to open for some time. It didn't dissapoint. Highly recommend.
