We stayed here because they had pull-thru sites with full hookups (for $32). It is self service due to owner illness which explains the conditions of the campgrounds. It was just an overnight stay close to the highway so the conditions of the Campground didn't bother us. The site did the job.

Great communication with the owner. Newer electrical, sewer, and water hookups. It is a typical city park-like setting. Lots of green grass and extra large campsites. Campground is going through cleanup due to recent storm damage. We have stayed here on several occasions and have never had any issues. Best of all, they are open year round and electric is included.

I understand they just had Dereco go thru in the resent past, the staff was out trying to get things cleaned up. They were friendly. It was okay just for our one night. Lots of messy monthly sites. Our burn out was full of trash, also had a mat that had been sitting there for who knows how long, grass and weeds growing through it(must have been a monthly site in the past) why not get rid of it, who knows. We needed a place to stay for the night and there were sites available therefore the 2 stars. Probably would not stay again unless they got the messy sites cleaned up.(Maybe they could put in their rules for the monthly sites to keep things tidy).

Stayed there off and on May june . Google maps took me directly there with no issues. Grounds were clean sites were big enough having room in between RV s. Owners very friendly. I was there due to death in my family. Owner was more than helpful to me even loaned me folding chairs for service. With raising her kids-school and sports they were there limited times and yes honor system in place. I hope others honor that. Beautiful grounds. All I can do is thank them for hospitality and kindness

Yes we do. We can not guarantee a site if reservations are not made. Sites without reservations are on a first come, first serve basis. The phone number if 515-733-4663.
Open year round
There really isn't a place for them to get it and the current is usually pretty strong.
Yes, we are still open. We will begin taking reservations for 2022 on March 1st. Sites are 1st come, 1st serve until then. We are open year round.
All sites are full hook up.
Monthly sites are $600 a month. The sites are metered and read on your rent due date. There are no restrictions on how long you can be here. Both mail and packages can be delivered to you here at the campground.
