It was a 40-mins brisk walk. Got there around 9.35pm. It was nice walking when not too many people are walking. The rubberized track was well-lit. It was a nice Spring weather at 69°F.

We used one shelter to hold our senior gathering (around 50 people.) There're long tables and benches. We put on some table cloths and it‘s ready. Restrooms are within walking distance and they're clean and well facilitated. A well maintained park. Lucky to be Cerritos resident

Love spending time here with my family the kids love it. They have basketball courts, tennis courts, hand ball courts, baseball fields, play ground for kids, plenty of picnic benches and full size track. Although most things are closed because of covid the tennis courts are open and so is the track. The other things are closed. The took the rims off the basketball courts. It’s still great to get out doors and get some fresh air and exercise. Nice clean park for everyone to enjoy.

You can call or visit the office in person and they can tell you the available dates. They book fast, so would reach out several months ahead of time.

Why is Cerritos Park East for residents only to use the tennis courts and guests $7 a/h? Isn't it a public park???

All of their facilities at that park require residency (swimming, tennis, etc. For picnics and stuff, Don Knabe regional park is a better option, though I'm sure you need to be a resident to use the courts and swim stadium there as well. You don't need to be a resident to use a lot of the picnic areas, just the ones with shelters I assume. You can ask though, it's a L.A. county regional park, so it might be different, good luck.

Can kids unable to swim go in the pool? How about with floaties? Is it heated (I mean, I'm guessing not, but might as well ask)?
