Complete b.s. They sure don't care about children or families, just about making sure someone pays no matter what the cost

People saying they are quite to help moms that's a lie! I have been having a horrible time for 2 years I finally got a good worker and things are getting better 2 yrs later and almost 16,000 owed.

They are so good for moms getting support, but dads, its pretty sad. My husband payed on time until he was diagnosed with terminal cancer, so because he couldn't work they levied our bank account, took our tax return and first stimulus. When the remaining balance was paid and the case is closed they lost our money, mind you mom is in jail and didn't have custody and moved to another state against a court order! But they told my husband who is very ill he would have to hire an attorney. Complete b.s. and my ex pays support so I'm on both sides.

I have never had a problem with customer service in office, apparently they have people answering from home that sound angry and hang up on you. I called twice, explained I didn't have a mailing address so I was confused and they said I was being rude and hung up. I never yelled, threatened or name called. I tried to be as professional as I could but it wasn't good enough. Apparently I get to wait up to 48 hours to see if the last one requested a supervisor, like I asked for. Good luck during the pandemic.

I am sorry you are having problems reaching a person directly. There is only one number statewide for child support and phone calls get directed to local agencies for contact, I understand being on hold can be frustrating but it is due to the number of calls coming into our call center. One way to assist in the matter is the next time you call 866-901-3212, you can request your case managers direct number from the specialist that you speak to.
Mr. Karcher, if your only source of Income is SSI/SSP then our office would start the process to modify the current support obligation to $0.00 if it has not been modified yet. Our office would review the case for closure even if there is arrears (back pay). If you like we can contact you so we can review your case and see if this may be an action we can take on your case. We look forward to hearing from you or seeing you in our office.
If you have a computer you can change it online or you can fax it in with a copy of your ID. You can change it in person at the front desk as well.
Visitation and custody are determined by family court. The family law facilitator can help you with filing the right papers.
You can complete an online application.
Assuming they're currently in Foster Care or with a caretaker, yes. You will owe until the date they are physically back in your home.
Depends on which state is enforcing your child support order. If it's a California order you can pay cash at a local child support office.
Deductions should not exceed 50% of employee's disposable income.
Better that they punish her x bitter
First they garnish wages, then suspend license, then issue warrant, then possible arrest, takes a while to get to that point but it possible. Best idea is to call your worker and ask to make an amendment to support if you can no longer afford it.

You should go to an office in the same county. But there ia an office in Ontario.
Hello Mr. Santiago, there are several reasons that would explain why a monthly payment could increase. Without accessing your case details, I am unable to give you the exact reason. Please contact us right away at (866) 901-3212 so we can work with you. Our intention is to honor your court order, if an error has been made, we want to correct it. Thank you.
Mr. Gregory – Thank you for reaching out to us. We are here to help you with that process. If you have your son living in the home with you please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist you and review your case for a possible modification of the current support obligation. You are able to request a review of your order due to a change in circumstances, which in your case would be a custody and visitation change. Please call us at (866) 901-3212 and ask to speak to your case manager as soon as possible to begin the process. Hope to hear from you soon.

This case would have to be reopened with new information regarding the whereabouts of the father. They will not reopen a case in the same status as it was in when it closed.
