Wex has been given great care here during the summer. He likes going. The place is very clean. He looks great after they give him a bath

My dog stayed for 24 hours last week and we paid for boarding plus daycare. My biggest complaint is that upon picking him up they couldn't find any of the things I dropped him off with. I waited over 10 minutes and they came out multiple times to ask me to describe his bed, backpack, and food bowls. I brought the bed for him to sleep on, so if they don't know what it looks like then I'm guessing it wasn't available for him to sleep on. Finally they found my items, except the stainless steel dog bowls weren't the ones I brought, but whatever. Another annoyance was the cost being different from what they quoted me. I was quoted a cost of $42 for boarding and $16 for daycare, which should equal $58 (plus tax) for 24 hours of care. When I asked for confirmation of the total over the phone they said it was something like $115, but that's because the computer assumes you don't pick up until midday and we charge for an extra day of daycare, so your total will be less. When I picked him up I was charged $72.34 and I'm not sure how they arrived at that number, but I find it insulting that I received no quote, the place seems disorganized by their inability to find my items, and then when paying I was prompted to leave a tip! Seriously?

It’s just ok. My pups have been going to a camp for many years. We switched to here after a move. After about 15 visits, the staff still didn’t know my pups names, my pups tried to follow me out when I left (they would run inside to counselors calling their names at the previous place), and were not tired after spending 8 hours there. They keep your dogs in runs and rotate playtimes. My guess is they probably get 2-4 hours of actual yard time. They forgot to move our regularly scheduled time from April to May, so I couldn’t bring them in as planned. I had to scramble take them somewhere else so I could keep my plans. I asked for a refund for my remaining days and they refused. It’s a pretty first impression, but very disappointing experience overall. I switched back to Camp K9 where counselors greet them with enthusiasm, my pups can’t wait to go play, and they play all day! It’s worth the drive.

My dog, Louie has been going to Bittersweet since the fall and he LOVES it! My boyfriend and I were looking for a new place to have Louie go after we had a bad experience at another daycare. I was a little hesitant when I first brought him over because I wasn't sure he was going to get the same amount of play time etc. that he was at the other place, but after talking with Lynna and the rest of the staff, I felt assured that this was the best place to go. Whenever it is camp day, Louie knows it! He is so pumped to go and play with all his friends-canine and human! When he gets to camp, he is all smiles, which is funny because it looks like he is growling. Lynna and Morgan are the 2 ladies who I interact with most and I know that Louie is well cared for by both of them because I see how they are with their own dogs. Louie, Mike and I have been treated like family. I am never worried about Louie being safe or playing with other dogs because those ladies are there to watch him! Bittersweet also has fun parties and they do a good job at being creative! Louie loves all the snacks and the doggie beer, although his body might not love it as much... ;) They take pictures and post them all the time so you can see what your dog did the day they went to camp and who they made friends with. They keep to small play groups (about 10 dogs, i think) and are always watching out for each dog in the playgroup. Best part is that Louie comes home tired! He gets a little sprite at dinner, but then calms down and is tired from a good day at camp! I have always had a good experience bringing Louie to Bittersweet and they always do their best to care for my dog.
