We just went for breakfast so I can only comment on that. It wasn’t great. Very dry biscuits, watery flavorless gravy. Scrambled eggs were fine. Bacon was that weird precooked bacon that’s super thin and shatters. The fried biscuits and apple butter were the only thing I liked. They call it a buffet but really you choose what you want and they bring it out. Might be okay for some but was the worst meal we ate during our stay.

Stayed at the hotel for our 45th Anniversary. We booked for 3 nights and couldnt wait to leave. The bed was hard as a rock, the sheets was old, blanket had a hole big enough to put your foot through. There was no towels in room had to go downstairs and ask for them at 9 oclock at night. We had to fill out a form for what we needed each day . Wouldn't you assume you needed towels. So next day we asked and got one towel. There was no place in bathroom to sit toiletries except above the stool. There was a shelf and everything stuck to it from the layers of paint. Very worn and depressing . I understand it had an 1800's atmosphere but do some updates with nice linens . On a light note the breakfast was good and staff was friendly. Will not stay there again !

We were happy to find a local restaurant open on a Friday evening. The appetizers were ok (Potato skins could use sour cream they were dry.fried biscuits were amazing!) My friend got the potato soup and she liked it... I got the onion soup and I wasn't a fan, using the rye bread made the soup taste bitter... We shared the grilled cheese and it was ok. But the service was great and we were thankful to have a place to get out of the rain and have dinner.

This is one of our favorite places in the US!!! The sun-fries are amazing, the French onion soup is worth the trip there and the menu is flawless! Especially meatloaf, the Reuben, and the chicken!!! The ambience is incredible and the waitstaff are very professional and kind. Treat yourself to an amazing meal!!!

All staff are required to wear masks. Customers are required to wear masks until seated and whenever away from the table or in public areas. Frequently touched surfaces are sanitized hourly, Hand sanitizer is available for staff and guests. Tables are socially distanced with not all tables being used.
We allow them on our side porch, which is under cover also.
I would talk to the Brown County Art Gallery or the Art Guild. Our CVB would have their phone numbers. CVB number is 812-988-7303.
