Such a stunning village! The houses are all for rent, there's an Inn and restaurant with incredible high scale food. There's a stage and a field big enough for major bands to play and accommodate thousands of concert-goers. It's a gorgeous place to get married; stage for the ceremony, hayloft banquet hall for the feast. I am excited to come back for the next festival, I am dressing vintage to match the bespoke decor of the Inn. This village is like a movie set, it's almost surreal.

Went too early in day. Mainly closed down.. Looked around and purchased a t- shirt. One staff ignored us and other nice. Don't go before 2pm since tavern closed before that time. Had dinner there in 90's and it was great.

The Story Inn is beautiful all on it’s own! “All” of the staff made our stay even better. The assistance we received from Hazel was over and above. We couldn’t tell you her job description because when we asked for assistance, she obliged without question. The Saturday night 6-7 course meal was amazing. We highly recommend the wine pairing, to enhance the experience. The Sunday breakfast was also amazing, the cheesy grits were memorable! The Covid shut down was tough on these older buildings, but they are committed to bringing everything back to standard. What a nice, relaxing place for a weekend getaway! I have visited Story Inn a few times in the last couple months. My fiancé and I tried their brunch in the dining room one day. We tried the Tavern another day. The food was outstanding both times. I forgot to take pics, but their burger with bacon jam was amazing. Britani and the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Currently open Thursday-Sunday I am a regular and their food is great! Whether your looking for a layer back environment during the day or a nice place take a date at night! Their food is always different during the evening... which gives you an awesome selection

There is a bar downstairs, a garden which will have live music sometimes, a sitting area outside the bar under a large tree, and a small gift shop. I recommend all visit Story Inn. Ask for the best server, Ann. Sometimes you will get to see Tek, the friendly Story Inn White Wolf that visits often. The wolf is as legendary as the Inn.
The chef is very accommodating and was able to serve us vegetarian cuisine. Im sure they can cater to all the dietary restrictions you mentioned.
Open 6 days a week. Closed on Monday.
