I had a cheeseburger that had to be the best I've ever had! It tasted like it was grilled and was very juicy. The lettuce and tomatoes on it were crisp and fresh and it was on a potato brioche bun. It was served with a generous amount of french fries. Highly recommend it!! Our server, Ben, was top notch and took excellent care of us.

We decided to stop here for dinner on a whim. This place has a very cozy vibe to it. The staff were very friendly, the food is delicious with some surprising items on the menu. I had the gumbo, and it is a solid dish. It reminds me of something I could get in New Orleans. My wife had the breaded tenderloin sandwich, it was a generous potion of pork tenderloin, as is the custom in Indiana, and the hand cut fries were great as well. We ate outside with beautiful views of the grounds.

Cloth napkins, fresh flowers, cool ice water with a lemon is a great start to a wonderful dinner. I enjoyed the Smoked Andouille sausage with applewood sauerkraut. My wife had the Peach and Bourbon Salmon. Both were excellent. The restaurant is part of the Brown County Inn that is conveniently located near the busy downtown area of artisan Nashville, Indiana. Parking is easy and convenient.

On this visit, I tried something different from my usual fried chicken choice. I got the Mediterranean Plate. Hummus, falafel, grilled squash, rice, crunchy chickpeas (which are so good, I could have eaten a bowlful!), and I added grilled chicken. All very good. All eight of us (including two small children) were happy with our service and meals.
