We just passed through on our way home and thought it was a great place. Super nice staff, especially Paul! Good cell service, Wifi spotty. Poor shower pressure. Reasonable prices. We would stay again!

This place is the best service, the staff is helpful and friendly. This is hidden gem. We will be returning. The prices are reasonable too. You should try this place you will love it.

Love this campground. Full Hookup, comfortably sized sites, and some really nice amenities. Location is easy to find and the pricing is very affordable. Tons of open fields, playgrounds for the kids, pools for everyone, and great WiFi for those that need to stay connected. They recently added a whole new section of premium pull through sites. Definitely worth the add to your camping portfolio.

You'll have to call the office for complete reservation information. There are sites here with full hook-up and ones with just water & electric. This is a great and secure campground.
People are not allowed to sell their sites. It's not like that at Southwoods at all. You're leasing the site on a seasonal basis. Once that site is vacated, the owners of the campground select the new seasonals based on a very long waiting list. To my understanding the only exclusion to that is a site that has a park model on it that was their before the rules were set into place. Then if that owner was to sell the park model, then the new owner of course would be able to become a seasonal resident. I personally am not aware of any such places remaining under this "grandfather" clause. Of course understand the owners of Southwoods RV Resort retain all rights of their own property so of course they can do whatever they want. 😁
No. They have a waiting list about 10 years long.
I don't know of a dedicated tent area. But there were people there camping in a tent for 1 night last week in a normal camper area. They can use the electric and water on their site.
Park modrks and RVs. Price will vary based of course on the unit. All are well kept and you bring your own sheets and pillows.
Yes they have campers that are for rent. We stayed in one the week of July 4th. The rates vary depending on the camper and time of the year. They are really nice people give them a call they will hook you up with what you need.
You'll need to call them directly. Unfortunately, the local guides don't have that information available.
