Mend Urgent Care

This is the only urgent care I have ever been to that didn't try to rush me out at lightning speed. The physician I saw (Jade) was super patient, kind, and knowledgeable. She took the time to understand my problem, and she really helped me. I appreciated the fact that I didn't feel like I had to leave as soon as possible. I had the time to complete the IV treatment and rest. Jade answered all my questions, and made helpful suggestions. And all of the staff I interacted with were very professional and communicative. 5 stars for sure!

Ok so I'll start by saying that the staff are all very nice and polite. However... I went in with severe foot pain and had to walk back and forth to the reception desk 4 times to get checked in because of their ridiculous digital registration that won't actually accept the pictures it requires before you can complete the registration. Then I waited for 3 hours to see a medical assistant who sent me back to the waiting room for another half hour before they called me into a different room to wait for the Physician's Assistant to come in and tell me they don't test for my condition there but they could do an x-ray that could rule out this other unlikely diagnosis and prescribe me something that might help if I have what they think I might have and asked what I thought was best. At no point was a physician consulted. Then they suggested regular blood work because why not right and the tech nicked two veins before finally getting it done. To top it all off they didn't send the prescription over before the pharmacy closed so now I have another day of suffering to look forward to tomorrow before I have to call and harass them into doing the one thing that may actually be worth the money but certainly not the time I spent in their office.

My oldest had a great visit when a horse stepped on her foot. Even the follow up was good. My youngest had people telling her riddles while they helped her. Also it's incredibly clean.

Usually the wait is fairly short. Today it was a little long but I was a walk in at 6:30pm on a Friday. In comparison with Burbank Urgent Care they are still a much shorter wait (theirs was 3 hours when I called). Anyway, I've come in 3 times now and the doctors always give me very helpful information and they really know their stuff. They are amazing with kids. They have always gone above and beyond to explain their diagnosis etc. I am extremely impressed with them every time. And their staff is all EXTREMELY kind. Far more helpful and kind than any other doctors office I've been to. If I could make them my daughter's pediatrician I would! Way better than my pediatrician office!
