How lucky are we to even have an organization like BHC to turn to? I am a single, low-income (unemployed atm) female that has two small fur babies. I had a medical set back and lost my job some time ago and went through my savings. I just finished raising a great human being who is now independent and living on his own, working and going to school on his own dime. Recently I sold everything, found a temporary room to stay until the end of April. After that, I am hopeful to have a permanent home and now that I'm healthy I am active daily seeking full time work. Doing everything I can every day and then I came across BHC. I am grateful there is an option outside of section 8 (which has zero chances of giving any one an option for housing due to it's over flow in applicants). BHC is just another 'ray of possibility' for all who qualify, to reach for, there can be nothing wrong with that. All we can do is put our best foot (efforts) forward, and keep on keeping on. The rest is up to God. #attitudeofgratitude
