Nice place, enjoyable views. Great place to sit, meditate, read a book, or bring laptop and “WFH”. Definitely want to come again and spend more time. In my opinion, this place is more suitable for family/group gatherings as there are quite a few round tables with seating around to accommodate larger groups. This thing is lacking in the Alta Plaza Park. Lafayette Park also has wider variety of flora, in case you enjoy that.

This is my favorite urban park in the city. It's set on a hilltop and offers unique views of the city depending which side of the park one is facing. This park includes a dog park with fake grass (lots of well-behaved dogs with their humans), a children's playground, an open area with picnic tables, concrete paving and tall trees, grass areas to set up mats and chill, and trail paths to walk on. Lots of well-kept greenery to look at!

Beautiful, big park with a wonderful children’s playground. Lots of grass, many areas for sun or shade. The perfect picnic park. The playground has soft padding underfoot. Plenty of swings to accommodate both infants and older children. & many interesting play features. Access to public restroom available.

Great park, super dog friendly, with a fenced dog park, and lots of dogs off leash in some open areas as well. There are generally well maintained public restrooms, a playground, and tennis courts. Make sure to look out for the native parrots that live here!

I'm sure you can. There is a nice paved section up top. Large area. I did not see any grills when I was there though. You will have to bring your own it looks like.
Narrow paved walkways through the park. Better to run the perimeter sidewalks around the park.
This park is not set up for holding events that may require a permit. You may want to check with City office.
Short answer us yes. You must apply for a permit to reserve s spot for a party I any of our 220 parks here in San Francisco. Enjoy!
That I would say yes but make sure with the park due to the fact that I am not sure where they are allowed
