So here I am camping at the Frontier Town State Campground in need of some groceries. Off to Tops. Store is busy 2 cashiers open. Three doing clerks socializing in one register light on. Are you open I ask? No answer.. Not even a glance in my direction. So I go to the other and promptly get friendly service by a lovely older clerk. The young clerks still having their gab fest when I left. So I find myself back 2 days later for a couple items. 2 clerks with lines. I get behind a customer with a large order no problem, but here is the clerk eating a donut in on hand scanning their merchandise, shoving to the back of the counter for the customers to pack their own bags. Now I understand why they are at the bottom of the grocery store list.

I love going into Tops every time I go up north. such a nice store in the heart of town. within walking distance of all the other shops and stores. if you need any food or items you may have forgot on your travels, stop in and they will have what you need.

Only grocery store in town of schroon. Went there to get pepsi and i tell you it like 100 percent markup $8.17 for a 6 pack of Pepsi and then buy 2 get 3 free savings of $21. And some changes. Your not saving nothing you could go to Stewart's down the street and buy 2 for $8.17 maybe a little more that if they have them. But I took the hit and got one cause I just wanted to get home thank for ripping me off tops. You top my day.

Should have at least 2 registers open and employees shouldn't be standing around while customers are waiting to be checked out. Cashiers need to be better trained and given the proper tools to check customers out efficiently.
