Fun park to take your kids big field for soccer or football.

I have seen what I believe to be a wedding reception being held here. The playground has nice squishy foam floors so if children fall there less likely to get hurt. The bathrooms are totally fine. I am a little disturbed by another review that suggests that homeless people are behind dirty bathrooms. As someone who has been homeless it is way more likely that a group of unruly teenagers or perhaps all of the children playing next to the bathroom who aren’t potty trained are behind it instead of the people depending on it. I urge people to not think of homeless people as a subset sub species of humans but instead just people who have had bad luck

Grass needs repair. Bench, park equipment in some disrepair. Pretty sure Emeryville could afford to do better here!

Doyle Hollis Park is a nice little park in an otherwise urban setting. There's plenty of space for all the activities going on on a regularly basis, be it martial arts classes, mini concerts, groups celebrating life events, and people relaxing. I like this park, it's our go-to in the area to simply decompress and be surrounded with greenery.

There are NO DOGS ALLOWED on the lawns at this park. There are signs posted all around the park that make this clear.
I was under the impression that this park has two parts, a larger unfenced park with larger play equipment, and a smaller fenced park just across the street. I've taken my 3 year old to the fenced park ,which has two swings and a small play structure, for about two years.
