Went to look for some small shelves here and kitchen stuff. I will never buy ANY type of food from these places again. Not even for my dog .. so gross!! Don't you clean?

I’ve had plenty of positive experiences in my local Dollar Tree, until Leamon (with his mask well below his nose) was incredibly unkind to me at check out because I wasn’t wearing one. I wasn’t aware of the recent policy change - masks are not currently mandated in our county, and no other businesses for months have been requiring or requesting them, including Dollar Tree. I would have gladly worn one from my purse if asked. He snapped at me for attempting to empty my basket onto the belt and was caustic to me over the chip reader malfunctioning at payment. After saying coldly, “Next time you’re in, you have to wear a mask” (to which I immediately apologized because I didn’t know), he stopped my purchase to get on the loudspeaker and pointedly remind the entire store that mask wearing is mandatory. I’m unsure why I was singled out - few others wore masks in the store apart from employees, and no one else from my observation received the treatment I did. He had been pleasant to the maskless customer before me. Leamon, I’m not sure what your problem was with me today. I’ve always followed and respected store and county guidelines when made aware. These are not easy times for any of us but not trying to make a fellow human being feel like garbage over a small mistake would be a step in the right direction. After that experience, however, I won’t be back and wouldn’t suggest the store to anyone else.

Nice staff Feel sorry for them because they need staff and with covid it's been difficult. Stores a mess but they do have some nice items.
