Cal Star is a great company I’ve used them twice now. Steve did the job both times and did a excellent job both times. He explained how he was going to do the job both times. And showed me how to reset the earthquake valve on the gas line. That I had installed along with earthquake brackets under the home. I would recommend them to anyone that needs work on there manufacture home.

We called the highly recommended Cal Star Mobile Home Construction to get an estimate of repair for an old, dilapidated manufactured home that was inherited and needs extreme help. The Cal Star crew came out the next day, was on time, professional, and super empathetic to our needs. They gave us a verbal cost of repair on the spot- For our situation, the amount of repairs would exceed the current value of the home so we are choosing not to use them, but I know the job would have been done with quality and expertise. This company is not a "handyman" service- They are top notch and you certainly get what you pay for. I have been in the insurance and construction business for over 30 years and know a good contractor when I meet one. I highly recommend Cal Star Mobile Home Construction.

Heads up... This company charges a $250 fee JIST TO QUOTE you for an estimate if you are selling your house, in escrow, or are a real estate agent trying to get an estimate for your client. If you aren’t selling your house , the estimate supposedly is free. I kind of understand the need for a “service call” type of fee in this situation... but $250???? Come on now...

I called Cal Star Mobile home because I needed a consultation as to the condition of my coach’s foundation. I am remodeling my unit and adding an enormous amount of extra weight in the drywall along with new kitchen and bathroom construction. Porsche answered the phone, immediately arranged for an appointment and even called me fifteen minutes before the tech was to arrive. Jacob White was the gentlemen that arrived. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He evaluated my construction needs and then gave me a thorough explanation as to the condition of my foundation and the approaches to making the unit safe for all the extra weight it will be bearing. I highly recommend this company for work on foundations, piers, pads and braces. I look forward to working with them for other construction needs.
