Wow, just had the smoothest trip to USPS. Arrived on a Wednesday @ 12:30pm. Let me break it down: Parking: plenty of parking available with accesible ramp. Lines: barely any line. I was there for about 30 minutes preparing my packages and I never saw more than 2 people in line. Line moved very quickly. Service: employees were incredibly attentive and helpful. I was preparing a package for Turkey and the staff member helped me compare packaging/delivery methods in order to find the most economical option. Materials: unlike other USPS locations I frequent, this location was fully stocked with all packaging materials needed and had a wide selection of greeting cards. Pricing: much more economical than UPS and FedEx. My package to Turkey would’ve cost +$280 to ship with UPS. Meanwhile USPS charged me $80 with packaging material, tracking, and insurance included.

My package was labeled as “refused” despite no one being home to refuse it. I’ve called multiple times over several days, keep getting promised that I will get a call back while they search, then the cycle restarts the next day. Most annoying post office experience I’ve ever had. Is there a way to report them?

I've had really good experiences overall at this location (as a matter of fact, it's become my go-to post office even though I don't live in Pasadena or Eagle Rock). I have dropped off pre-paid packages, purchased boxes/other items for shipping services, and used counter service regularly. The postal employees seem nice and professional overall. Sometimes the wait times can be longer -- but it depends entirely on date/time you go.

Awful run around after two staff assured me they would hold my mail. Not there when I came when I said and they knew I would be coming. And when they transfered me to a supervisor (they said I should speak to one, I hadn't asked for one) she put me on hold and then hung up on me. I called repeatedly until someone had to pick up and for the 5th time had to explain the situation and they were hasty with me. I just want to know what they did with my hold since I had bills and paychecks in there. A friend said she got a card sent back to her and I think that is the only way I have an answer. Why can't they just say where it went? Why give me a run around? Why hang up on me? If you sent it all back to senders, then say you did. .
