I was a patient here so long. 4 years they still wouldnt give me 30 day take homes. I got Rx'd methadone for a yew tears so when the pharms stopped filling scripts i tried to go back. They refused me so on the way out the intake lady told my to go use H so that the clinic in Richmond couldnt refuse me. I hadng injected or used in over 5 years but i had no choice. I was on methadone nearly 20 years, i wasnt gonna cold turkey cause suddenly i wasnt an addict, suddenly i was a pain patient so thwy could refuse. . You have no options in marin, the place in Richmond is 1000 x worse.

This place has saved my fiance and my soon to be born daughters lives. They do a great job at coordinating treatment with Helen Vine so the detox process doesnt have to be painful and the staff has gone out of their way to be supportive of my fiances recovery. We are very grateful for this program.

I took my business across the bay, worth the $5 a day. This is a Non-profit treatment facility, and like all non-profits, they really have to bend to whatever bullsh** they "have to" at the end of the day to earn a buck. "Federal Law" my a$$. I didn't need no damn Doctor's note at my new clinic. They were pushing me back on the street for no reason, just lame ol' Marin for ya. This is life or death folks. Now I'm not just a number, I have a name. (Yes you all knew my name, but y'all also looked guilty as hell raising and lowering my dose, messing my treatment up bigly, MY LIFE!)

The worst expérience that I have ever had with a medical facilita of any kind, ever. I am a professionale and never expect ed such poor and uncaring treatment in my life. A woman named JESSICA did everything that she could to make my in take more difficult. If she worked for me, I would fire her. I was going to make a large donation through the Thiemann family Foundation and that is why I was there I urge anyone considerino making a donation to this Foundation to do a little investigation and due diligence prior to waiting that check.

As far as I know there's no waiting list, but there's a process to go through in terms of your insurance and Dr. recommendation something that I hadn't anticipated and I wasn't able to dose my 1st day. Everything was smoothed out by the 2nd day and everyone working there has been so supportive , kind , and friendly. I am so grateful for the treatment center and everyone I've come into contact with there. Their support and my actions has turned my life around , I wouldn't have been able to do so if it wasn't for their help.
You'll want to call them directly. They have several programs that are conducted differently. I dont believe they approve take homes until after a sort of probationary period. However, they are pretty accommodating to most individual situations. All of the staff is very easy to talk to and they have nothing but empathy, so i suggest you discuss your situation with them directly.
