Surprisingly pleasant train ride between San Rafael Transit Center and the Santa Rosa Charles Schulz Airport, with a few little small town stops along the way. A touristy thing for now, but cannot imagine that it could be much of a "commuter" option for anyone besides a few Santa Rosans going to work at the Marin Civic Center.

SMART passengers can park for free along McInnis Pkwy, which runs parallel to the Civic Center station. Additional free street parking is available on the nearby Merrydale Rd, the frontage road on the west side of Hwy 101. The street parking there is just north of the train tracks, and there is a walkway that leads to the station.
