Very convenient Marin bus hub location that’s close to 101 freeway exit with businesses nearby. The transit center has a convenient store, and bathroom (sometimes closed). There are some chairs for you to sit while you wait. Restaurants and a bank nearby. If you need to reload your clipper card, just walk across the street to the Smart train station platform to find the self service machine.

A very conflicted review, this place is great to catch a bus, even the security guards are nice. But boy howdy the bus drivers can be so impatient and rude.

Good place for a lot of transportation needs. It is convenient that many transit services stop here for easy hopping on one bus to another. I like that there are transit schedules posted at the stops.

As bus stations go this isn't too bad. Very few dirty needles or condoms on the ground and almost no discernable smell of urine. Be careful loitering here though. As much as you may want to stay and enjoy this bus stop all day, San Rafael has strictly enforced vagrancy laws.

Normally, the one on the east side platform on the Citibank side departs at the bottom of the hour, whereas the west side next to whistle stop departs at the top of the hour.
