We saw them online and thought it looked like a peaceful place to visit from city life. Spent three days here. They had a jazz band and Mexican food. They did not disappoint. The staff here are friendly the grounds are nice. Our spot on the river side was level depending on your hookups you may need an extension to keep your steps over the patio. Which isnβt a big deal. The waterfall is nice after a large rain. My only recommendation is that people who are there long term need to keep their campsites more tidy. Really itβs a pet peeve of mine and may not bother someone else. I would gladly visit this place again.

The staff was amazing. Allen was so much fun. Sites were nice enough, a bit small. Showerehouse was very clean. Pool was nice. Free popcorn was a hit with the kids. Gift Great shop. Nice little playground. Everything was top notch, besides the weather, but that's the chance you take when camping. I just wish they offered a cheaper kayak rental. I think it's my husband's new favorite campground. It's in my top 2 for sure. The scenery is beautiful. But really,by far the nicest staff I've ever met. Tried to book for another trip as soon as we got home and couldn't find a site anywhere for the rest of the summer weekends. I'm gonna keep.looking, definitely want to go.back.

We've stayed at Cummins Ferry twice and have enjoyed both trips. The staff is super friendly, they have a very nice store, and you'd better watch out for Bigfoot wandering about!! π³This time the prices seemed to be a little higher, but I understand they recently changed management and are making a lot of improvements. The waterfall on the river is beautiful! It rained pretty hard the day we arrived, so some of the sites were pretty sloppy. Everything seemed to dry out quickly once the weather cleared up. On our previous trip we put our kayaks in the river and enjoyed an afternoon kayaking up river, having lunch, and floating back. There are goats on the hills a little way upstream from the campground, which was pretty cool. They had live music on Saturday night with a food truck, which was a lot of fun. We were able to meet a few of our fellow campers. They have a lot of kids activities. In spite of the higher prices, we will be coming back. They're still working on several improvements, so it may be a little premature to use the terms "luxurious" and "resort" but it seems they're heading that way! Happy camping!

Beautiful campground and the staff are all amazing. So helpful from check in to check out. Bathrooms and laundry room were very clean and well maintained. Country store is super cute! Wood available for purchase. Weekend music and food truck created such a down to earth friendly vibe and overall wonderful experience. Would definitely come back again!

Good news! Under NEW Management! We do offer monthly - and I think it can auto-renew. Many people leave their rigs here full time. It is super safe and quiet and they come on the weekends mostly. 859-865-2003 Hiking Trails, MTB Biking, Kayaking, Boating, Fishing and of course campfires on the river.
