A great place to camp. Family friendly located on lake Barkley. The camp host Jake & Jayme are super nice and always very helpful with anything that should come up. They are great in keeping an eye on the park with making multiple rounds checking on things and everyone. I hope to see them next year as well. Sites are always clean when arriving. A super quiet campground come sundown. We notice the sheriff of the county also makes rounds once or twice a day circling thru which is added peace of mind. A boat ramp for launching your boat and areas to fish from the bank. A play ground as well. Nice bathhouse with two toilets two sinks two or three showers situated in the center of the campground. More sites than not have lake view. There is a swimming beach and also tent sites as well.

Best camping experience on the lake! We were on site #17 and it had amazing lakeviews. We saw deer daily, eagles and many other birds when we kayaked. The camp hosts were the best. When #17 came open because someone cancelled, he told us and then changed our reservation. He was very helpful for information & directions. The only downside is we had no cell service & could not even make phone calls with Tmobile. I'd prefer not using them at such a beautiful relaxing place, but we were looking for a home and really needed it. Other than that it was terrific!

Really great small campground. Everything seems to be kept up nice except for the showers. The bathroom/shower house on the shower side needs some major attention. It's clean, just extremely run down. But everything else is great. Make sure you come prepared. Campground is a good ways from the nearest store. Only a small gad station about 6 miles down the road. I've read multiple reviews about no cell service. My husband and I both have AT&T. We've had excellent service the entire 11 days that we have been here. No drop calls and no buffering to get internet services. Highly recommend this campground. Plan on returning

It depends on which site you choose and the size of your camper. I would not recommend site 18, 1, 2, or 3.

How can I contact the campground about lost items? We have tried calling the number listed on recreation.gov multiple times, but we have not had any luck so far. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
