Found this place cuz every other place was booked solid. Their website says that primitive camping sites show up as unavailable but that they always have some in their first come first serve. We got here the place is way bigger than expected The primitive camping sites are buried in the trees which is fantastic. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner. Last night I had a half a rack of ribs and baked beans for dinner. One trip to the fishing pond got us five decent size bluegill a big crappie and two bass. Could not be happier what a great accident to find

Completely enjoyed ourselves while staying at Callies. Hiking in the Gorge and fun times had at the campground, karaoke and live music, food, making new friends. Very family friendly. Already booked our next stay!

We visit Callie's Several times per year! It's so close to everything you want to see in the RRG area! The camp store is fantastic and they are always cooking up some food! The bathrooms are clean and nice all the time! Great family friendly environment with lots of activities for adults, for the kids, or to participate in as a family!

This family been here since 1700s. Young lady that owns it is super helpful ready to open the general store at a time most are not open. Just to get few things. Great family place with small lake and hot shower. Fee is reasonable compared to others. Has total hook ups or as I primitive camping completely secluded with view.

Yes. You actually fish from the bank.
We are sorry but you can’t shoot off fireworks at your site. We have a firework show and you’re more then welcome to donate to our show. You can have sparklers but we do ask to throw the sticks away and not into the fire pits.
There are about 4 bathrooms. They are private. Families can use the same one if needed. We went in together. They have shower, toilet and sink in each one. Doors lock, you get code when you check in.
No cabins to rent as of this year, but the owners are expecting to put cabins on the property within the next year or two.
It's a private lake so I don't think you need the license for catch and release.
The campground is open year round. The store isn’t. You’ll need to go online and make a reservation for the site you want for the dates.
You can buy it at the site! I believe its $6 per load. The store has about everything you might need. Especially those little items you typically forget. I did see at least one port-a-potty when we took a walk back where the primitive camping is. The cell service was great. I never once had a problem while there!
