Helpful and caring individuals. I came in to register to run for a local office in the up coming election. What I originally picked was out of my district and they were patient and helpful in helping me find what fits best for me in my district. They even talked to me about the other candidates who I would be running with or against. I definitely felt a strong sense of community here.

It's important to me to have a hard copy of my current party affiliation as it comes in handy for verification purposes at the library/polls/post office/etc.
How do I change affiliation
Go into the office and see if you are registered. You can also get a provisional ballot as required by law.
You can vote in person. However, Oregon law says that to be valid to vote, you must have registered 21 days prior to an upcoming election. This state does not have same-day registration voting. However, if you've been registered and just haven't voted before, yes you can vote in the office.
