Found this gorgeous little gem of a park not far from the LA Tar Pits absolutely fantastic for a picnic with our American family. So quiet and didn't feel you were next to the bustle of LA's roads that's for certain. It had trees to shelter under from the sun, picnic tables and a play area, with free parking for the park goers.
