The best outdoor range in Kansas City! Idiots here will get yelled at and corrected very quick, so it's a safe environment to practice. Spacious outdoor booths so one doesn't have to breathe in cheap ammo smoke. A very nice place to sight your firearms, or teach a youngster how to listen and shoot. I wish they could build a 300-yard booth or something, maybe underground, so one can really test their skills and tools, and this both would probably stay busy.

Had the greatest experience. Registration and sign up was so smooth. Very organized and all the shooters and regulars were so helpful! Had an amazing time.

Fantastic range! Well organized, clear instructions for first time shooters and extremely reasonable rates. The $4/hour rate includes targets, ear and eye protection and a spotting scope upon request. I like to take people who are new to shooting here so they can learn how to be safe at a range. Can't think of a better shooting range in the midwest.

Great range. Friendly staff. I was one of two groups. Thursday evening. Very accommodating, there’s rests and benches. You can do rifle/pistol on any range, you can shoot pistol at 100yd if you wanted to. Good price too. Overall a great experience.

A previous reply, that I removed, told you basically go pound sand. Here is a better answer - here is a link to MDC's site that will provide you with more information. https://nature.mdc.mo.gov/discover-nature/places/parma-woods-range-and-training-center
They do not sell ammunition, they run the range. They do have arplugs and cans you can use for free.
Yes
Yes, but wand the ammo first. No steel in the jacket.
Yes you can have more then one.I take 2 pistols and rifel
Steel case is fine but no steel core/jacket
BYOG. If you want rental guns check indoor ranges like Frontier Justice. Parma is a little heavy on rules. Reminds me of a public pool. NO SPLASHING 💦💦😂 (Whistle). If you want a more relaxed outdoor park-like setting check out one of the non staffed outdoor ranges in Missouri. There's one in St Joe, and two towards Concordia along i70.
$4 per hour per booth rental.
Pellet rifles are allowed but you have to use pellets no BBs are allowed, as they bounce off of the targets and dont penetrate like pellets.

Don't know, call and ask
No rental I've seen.
Range rules are all barrels down range. Check with the range officer.
Caliber is fine. They do check the projectiles with a magnet. NO steel containing bullrts.
I volunteer at Parma Woods. You can have more people in your group but 2 maximum in the booth with only 1 person handling/shooting a firearm at a time.
It is located West of Parkville on River Road. If you are familiar with I-435 just before it crosses into Kansas, River Road is the street next to the train tracks that you go over just before the long bridge over the river into Kansas. You can see the sign for Parma Woods from 435. River Road is either FF Hwy as you leave downtown Parkville or it meets up with 45 Hwy about 2-3 miles west of 435. It is the road that passes the skydiving place.
Rifle (long) range is 25 yds, 50 yds, and 100 yds. Pistol (short) range is 7yds, 15yds, 25yds, and 50yds.
Skeet at Lake City, no skeet at Parma.
