I stayed here for 125 days and all i have to say is that you really have to want your own recovery if your going to make it.my counselor was Heather and she's the best!she really cared whether or not i made it.

The employees at this place are a joke. As we stepped on the parking lot property they yelled at us and kicked us out AND called the cops because my kid had a remote control car and he was playing with it in the parking lot. The lady continued to call the police and chase after us. Not to mension the people inside can not help you one bit. If you ask for help they will just tell you to figure it out yourself and chase you away after they kick you out and call the cops

FRC took me in as a client.I am 62and getting up at 5:30 to do landscaping is just sad that this is how they keep the place running .all house chores and outside chores as well are done by clients.there are no hired workers at all.. I had spoke to Liz my counselor regarding making a move to serenity due to the fact that I baby Sat some very disturbed children for hours a day.I had a 950.00 dollar cashiers check stolen from me as well 80$ in cash .I put a pass in to go to serenity house to get information .Liz wrote on my pass LETS TALK.I went to her office and was told they would not save my bed and was told to leave.I had not asked them to hold my bed.with no where to go my entire family was on vacation.the second night outside I developed sepsis a deadly disease ad well as pneumonia .I was taken to ICU at Palomar hospital from where I was just released.the never cared if I had a place to go as a senior citizen there concern was non existent. There egos just could not stand the fact that I wanted to go somewhere more suitable for me.how sad they all seem to put a 62 year old lady in danger.

Questions & Answers

What is the process to be able to visit my loved one.

The process is your loved one first requests the visitation, you then speak to their personal counselor to decide what and how many meetings you will attend (generally 4 Al-Anon or Coda meetings), then you attend an orientation at FRC and after that you can visit. It is all set up to protect your loved one and do what is best for their recovery.

I called ahead of time and set up an appointment to come in that was about a week out. I came and did my intake on that day no problem.

This place is a joke no security what so ever people sneaking in at night and drug addicts shooting up and staff is aware and does nothing they are worse rehab I’ve ever heard of

Not a question and definitely not my experience. Security was very tight during my stay and any possibilities of potential drugs or use in the house were taken very seriously and handled immediately.
