It just shows me how old I have become. I was with the first group of Scouts to map the then "New Property ". At that time, we had to watch out for the cattle that had been left there from a movie that was shot there, and they left the cattle for the owner of the property. The lake you see the girls fishing in, at that time was a very small pond! No camp sites, dear all over, it was one of the best summers I ever had! Like to know what happened to Camp Davidson? From Brownies to Senior's, we camped there. I was in Troop 620, of Spring Valley, and my Mom, Virginia Ruggles was our leader.

Awesome girl scout camp which anyone can actually reserve space for cabin camping. You don't have to be a girl scout to camp here! Great place to wake up to nature and animals like deer, Turkey and bunnies!

I was in the group that were the first to map the then, new property. A the time it did not even have a name. We were called the "Snoopy Patrol". The cattle that were on the property, were left there by a movie company. The movie was "Texas across the river". Will always remember the great time I had that summer!
