I am a current patient at this clinic and i have severe liver impairment.. After making this very clear they doubled medications that should have been cut in half.. They have 0 compassion because they deal with the homeless population... It is supposed to be the other way around..

I have always received the best care at father Joe's clinic I've been going to the clinic now for almost two decades. I don't have much money so this is my alternative to the emergency room just to see a doctor. the clinic at father Joe's villages also offers treatment for opioid addiction (MAP) the addiction specialist and doctors at father Joe's clinic will do everything thing they can to help you succeed in your treatment. so whether you need to see a doctor to get a prescription refilled if you need to see the dentist about a painful toothache or if you just need to talk to somebody about life's everyday stresses that sometimes seem too difficult to handle on our own come see the mental health professionals and addiction specialists at father Joe's clinic.

some of the people that work there really do care but one lady I have seen who works there can be very demeaning to the clients. I have witnessed in the past how she talks to people and thought it wasn't right but yesterday this woman actually tried to talk to me like that it left me in tears and feeling completely frustrated. The woman does the medi-cal enrollment and she would benefit a ton from some sensitivity training. The colored lady with the beads in her hair at the front window could take some training herself, she doesn't have to be so rude to so many people coming there for help.

You have to be refered to a doctor that does glasses. And you should have to pay anything. But Father Joe's clinic can not do that. Have you thought of going on to something like blue Cross because I have then and I pay nothing
The health center is available to all homeless residents of San Diego.
I spent my first year sober at Vinnies, minding my business as I walked though the ghetto right outside. Left after 13 months to get my hard earned first room rental in San Diego. While I was walking outside there once I was bit by a pitbull and got an infection but stayed sober. Remember if you want to be straight then temptations don't matter. Other people that want to use do their thing and you do yours. It seems like you want to be straight. So just go for it. I am sober for 5 years now.
The black out part is the first 30 days. You cannot have visitors or make phone calls.
