My wife is Jewish and her parents used to come here when she was a little girl. Today, we came in with our 3 kids. This is such a nice place. The smells alone are worth a stop in. We got sandwiches and she was so happy to get a bunch of different breads and other treats. What a sweet visit. Everyone working there was very nice, very welcoming. Deangelo working by the deli counter was very patient, as our kids were crazy and we were indecisive and just happy to be there. He was genuinely friendly and patient with us. I really appreciated that because sometimes our kids make people lose patience but he made us all feel welcome and not rushed. Thank you for that good service, sir. We will come back soon! Thank you for making our family feel so welcome. What a nice place.

THE absolute best deli style corn beef on rye on the planet! I drive from Racine WI just to get my sandwich here because it has spoiled me for any other place. For one, it melts in your mouth, the texture and taste is perfection and for two, the sandwich COULD be shared if you so inclined but if I get full on half, I save the other for late night snack 😃Seriously, don't even waste your time anywhere else...if you like corned beef...THIS is your go-to I promise!!

My absolute favorite deli. The interior is pretty small, but I love walking around and looking at their offerings while I wait for my turn in line. Their salmon salad (a spin on tuna salad with their in-house lox) is very good and I always pick up a container. I’ve had several of their sandwiches and they are all excellent. The meat is very high quality and the flavors are complex, so you don’t get bored eating it. This is a good thing, because the portions are huge. You could probably split a sandwich among two people, but it is nice to have some leftovers for the road. I only wind up coming here a handful of times in the year since Skokie is pretty far from where I live. However, this place is a must-see if you are in the area and looking for either a great sandwich or great meat.

When my usual place was so crowded they didn't even seem interested in taking my pick up order, I went looking for another spot for my lox and bagel fix and man, was I rewarded for the effort. My sandwich was fantastic, and the slice of pumpkin cake I grabbed from the cooler was to die for. I'll definitely be coming back to try other things and bringing my husband with me.
