I really didn't want to review this gem and let the secret out but the owner Gene is a class act and deserves the shout out given the amazing food and awesome entertainment. Reservations are highly suggested and you will not be disappointed.

My friends and I went to this establishment when there was a Blues Fest event going on, so this maybe an unfair review but here it goes. They didn't plan accordingly for the amount of people that would be coming in. There were not enough tables and not enough waiters or waitresses. I don't think they had any honestly. We actually had a regular customer come over and clean off our table and get us menus. The drinks were horrible, and I mean horrible! I couldn't even finish mine and all I ordered was a Bloody Mary and the women working behind the bar were rude or appeared to be high on something. Another girl working there didn't know what her responsibilities were and did a whole bunch of nothing. The food was okay. Our chef waited on us and she was super sweet and really friendly! She and the other lady that cleaned our table was the best part of our experience! I ordered simple foods to try to cut down on the wait time and it still took an hour or so to get anything. So while my first time there was during a special event, I won't be going back anytime soon. If you're going to be a part of an event that brings in large crowds, plan accordingly and hire and train your staff so they can get people in and out w full bellies and smiles on their faces!
