I am usually not the type of person to complain as I understand things are hard for everyone. I was rather fond of this place, ordered a couple times and quality has been stable. I initially planned to compliment how Boudin used real Parmagiano Reginano cheese for the tomato soup, then when I wanted to dip the sourdough bread into the soup, I found it was moldy. I did not believe my eyes at first and had two other people check for me and reached the same conclusion. As I had already poured the soup into the bread, I had to toss the whole thing out. I am also worried that the same bread went into my sandwich and croutons which I had already finished! I ordered SOURDOUGH but got MOLDYDOUGH, Boudin, you are better than this.

I bought bread last night. When I cut it open it was moldy on the inside. (4 clearly grey spots under the crust). I took it back to return it, and they refused. The manager said that’s the way bread is. When I showed her, her response was yes, that happens. It is fresh, and I doubt it would be moldy after 5 hours. I wasn’t sure how to respond, as it was clearly moldy under the crust. Super disappointed with this location. They wouldn’t refund it, or give me a new one.

Great surprise to find them in the area. Great flavors and it keeps the idea from the San Francisco location at Fisherman's Wharf. They run out of items, they're that good. Prices are up there, but worth it for bread and clam chowder. Cookies were just ok. Service was great!

The food is amazing but I saw the employees fixing their hair, eating behind the counter and touching their cel phones all without washing their hands before handing out the food. Please train your employees on proper food handling. I want to come back
