I've searched all over San Diego county and this place has the most authentic, delicious French baked goods. I actually met a French person who confirmed my finding when she let me know she frequents this bakery despite it being far from where she lives and works. Thank you French Oven for being a great French bakery with your fresh, delicious food and drinks and great service.

Tried almost everything from the menu at this hidden gem tucked inside Scripps Ranch. Haven't gotten disappointed yet. Servers are friendly. Outdoor seating only. Lines can get long during peak times, but worth the wait. The best R.A.C. (Raspberry Almond Croissant) in San Diego!

Wow! What an adorable shop! The menu is a bit overwhelming but in a good way. 😅🤣 I'll be back to try more goodies! 😋 Great service in a beautiful area. Had no idea they were there.

This is only the 2nd time I have been here and I love the food and the atmosphere here. Located in a small group of stores in the Scripps Ranch community, The French Oven is truly a find. With a variety of French desserts and pastries, there is something for everyone! I came here for lunch after a nearby home inspection and realized I will not be home for dinner tonight. The breakfast sandwich was calling me for lunch. My preference would have been for the veggie one but they were out so I have the regular. It was delicious! I grabbed a salad for dinner and of course I had to ground one of the fruit tarts for dessert. There is not a sweet I do not like LOL I have several past clients living in this neighborhood and I am planning on inviting them here for breakfast or lunch real soon now that we are safe to go out again!

After a day or so, I just pop it in the microwave for 15 seconds. Comes out warm, flakey and buttery.
