Love this bakery but today just wasn’t the best experience. This review is based on service/experience: Really disorganized staff, some people were showing up to do pick ups for the Rosca when they clearly said days before no pick ups. Saw an employee gave 3 roscas out in the alley to maybe friends/family yet some of us waited 2 hours to get some. On top of that, this was suppose to have cheese but it had fruit instead. Just a very disappointing experience. Their bread is great don’t get me wrong but if your service and customer experience is not great, the rest doesn’t matter in my option.

Very impressed. I ended up going to Panchita's twice during our trip to San Diego. Left both occasions with plenty of pan dulce. There's a great selection and on both days the bread never seemed like it was from the previous day. Most of the items are common across other panaderías. However, one item I have never seen before is budín. I bought some here and was instantly hooked. On our last day in San Diego, I ended up going back to buy more to take home. The staff was nice as well. Definitely recommend stopping by here.
