I grew up in a home with a German mother and wasn't expecting much from this restaurant. The food was incredible. I highly recommend the pretzel appetizer. It was delicious and enough for our table.

Went there with a friend. We both had menus. Looked over some of the selections, my friend pretty much knew what he wanted. The lady turned around and entered his order on the computer system . Then walked away, tending to other people. Never once came back to us until his appetizer came 25 plus minutes later. Then actually asked me if I wanted to order something. Like really?? Also the menus were left in front of us the whole time. I was ready to order when my friend ordered. Lousy service today and I didnt get to order a drink either besides water

Stopped here for dinner while staying in downtown Moline and enjoyed the German food. I really like red cabbage and hot German potato salad is also very good. The red cabbage was delicious - you definitely want to order it. I ordered the Leberkäse Dinner (see picture) lightly beer battered per the waitress' suggestion. It was good and I would recommend it. I've been here before. they have great food. i had the Huhner with potato salad and a Franziekaner hefe. delicious!
