How do you take a patient with a fever and stick them outside for hours like an animal? I was shivering outside while I wait for them to rule out covid. I understand there busy. Why couldn't the nurse swab me while they took my temp? This is discrimination. The nurse gave me a dirty look when he realized I'm unvaccinated for Covid. I wish I could leave 0 stars.

This place is very unprofessional, disorganized, and has racist nurses working at this location. On April 7th I asked a male Filipino nurse a question about the waiting time and the process and why certain patients were being taken before me. His tone of voice was arrogant, disrespectful, and racist. He told me that my case wasn't a priority among other things with attitude. He was so disrespectful he went to the patient behind me and told her we will be right with you. And then he went outside to tell his peers about this "complaint," when I just asked why were there patients who arrived after me entering the emergency room. He had two black piercings and tatted eyebrows. I'll be posting his name soon but he is disrespectful and shouldn't be working at any hospital. I will be taking this to my attorney and filing for this racist action. I hope the hospital takes action and fires him immediately.

This health care system is a joke. They are always overwhelmed and don’t give the care every patient needs. Unless you are not on your death bed they will easily dismiss you. In the past year that I moved to San Diego haven’t one good encounter with UCSD doctors or their staff. They are all overwhelmed, dismissive and unresponsive. I’m switching to SHARP.

The worst ER experience ever! It felt like something out of a war zone. A woman was lying on the waiting room floor in the fetal position screaming with pain for more than two hours. The nurses and staff couldn't care less. Inside the ER, sick people in gurneys were lined up in the corridor. This is a teaching emergency department with residents who have skill limitations. The residents I saw had no idea what they were doing. You will not find high-quality care here. I'm surprised The Medical Board of California is not addressing issues that can potentially lead to errors in patient care.
