Great staff and doctor. Treatment was helpful. There is an opportunity for improvement. I was told we would be seen within 45 mins but had to wait for 2 hours. Probably was due to being a busy day. They can be little more flexible w.r.t prioritizing senior citizens or babies visits.

Particularly recommend a frequent visitor, Dr. Makau, who can teach you a great deal by asking you questions! Others I've met here are also interesting, and I can see that the Urgent Care attracts doctors improving their diagnostic skills, not just time servers. Nurses and other personnel are equally alert and attentive.

WORST FACILITY EVER, DONT GO TO THIS URGENT CARE!! If i could give them zero stars i would. I saved my spot at 10:30 AM and received a message to arrive at 12:07PM. I arrived at 12 o'clock and checked in at the front desk. the front desk assistant said there are five patients ahead, should take around 45-60minutes. After waiting for 1.5 hours I went and asked, another lady on the front desk said my appointment will be at 3:30PM because there are 15 patients in front of me. while I was sitting and waiting there I saw so many patients check in after me, were called before me. And my turn came at 4:30PM. When I asked the receptionist about this she said 'i don't know why your appointment was pushed back'! After being called inside, the doctor just ran covid test (which came back negative) and said this is the limitation of urgent care, we can't do anything else to investigate your symptoms. Great, I waited 6 hours only to get a covid test which I could get done somewhere else in 10 minutes. Staff here is simply unprofessional. I wish I had read other reviews before going to this place, then i would've known in advance to avoid this facility. I didn't get treated, and became more sick after waiting for 6 hours in the freezing cold outside the urgent care facility because they asked me to sit outside the door as there is no waiting room for urgent care patients here. Let me know if I can report this incident to medical board or similar authority too, then I certainly would.

After moving away from San Diego, I sincerely miss the phenomenal service I received at this urgent care location. I was able to show up without any appointment, the facility had long hours of operation, and they have free parking directly in front for guests. Hands down, the best urgent care service I've ever received, and I miss it dearly now that there is nothing quite like it in my area. Note: I was a USCD student with UcSHIP.

pretty quick. both for going in to give sample(normally in within 5 to 10 min) and for getting results(normally one to two days from giving sample)
Urgent care does do x-rays. They don't have a CT scanner though, so going to the ER may be recommended if the x-ray isn't useful.
Sure just call the clinic
They accept your insurance
