Other people might think otherwise but Imo this is the most center-of-the-campus parking structure you might get in UCSD. Gilman just looks like it's in the center, but this is a more cozy place to park. You get to see the ambience of Muir walking south, and the forest-laden side streets when walking to Warren from here, then the gym of overworked but ambitious students going north. The drive towards this structure is more roundabout and not direct, but that just means less people would know about this structure so better chance of finding an open spot.

Currently one of the main Vaccination sites for Covid-19 can be accessed from the 7th floor of the parking structure. Easy access and easy FREE parking for Covid vaccinations. WARNING: FREE PARKING for Covid is ONLY at 5-6-7 Floors of the parking structure, which is NOT accessible from the main entrance (Currently blocked before 5th floor). You should turn at the STOP sign Voigt & Hopkins and take the side entrance at 6th floor. Around 25 vaccination stations guarantee quick and safe roll of the appointments. Mostly under the sun you may need some water with you. Be prepared for very, very long lines over an hour and a half (April 19) !

A great place to park at UCSD. It's nice and central to most of the campus, or at least he places I go during the day (Price Center, Bookstore, Warren and Roosevelt Colleges, etc). There's B parking until 9am most days. I don't think there's much S parking after about 8am. There's A parking all day, but that's true most places at UCSD. Visitor parking is on the topmost level.

Apart from the increased cost of parking here for a full day ($16, up from $8 about a year ago), this structure suits your basic parking needs. There's pay stations on each floor and an elevator & stairs on each end: NorthWest & SouthEast. Beware when parking during the school year: if you're not in a spot by 9:45AM, then you'll be circling around for an hour hoping that you'll find those blessed white back-up lights as someone is on their way out.

Yes, visitors can park here anytime at the top floor of the parking structure, where it has spots marked as V. However, these spots are often filled during the weekdays. I believe you would be fine during the weekends.
