At first I thought lunch combo with egg roll being $2 more was ridiculous, but I’m really craving one and reviews have left me wanting to try this place. #NOREGRETS, since egg roll was comparable to hotdog. -egg foo young + bbq pork fried rice was bomb (lucky garden’s wasn’t as good to me as it used to be when I went more pre-Covid/Chen’s Family dish was too clean/lacking flavor for me 😆). Lastly server was pleasant to pick food up from, and I’ll come again.

The amount of food you get ensures leftovers for later, unless you're against leftovers in which case: good luck. This restaurant has been around Salem for decades. The cost is certainly fair for the amount of food you get. All-around good.

This is my favorite chinese restaurant! I love their szechuan chicken, and their barbecue pork is to die for. There have been a few small errors in my times visiting, such as a small piece of cartilage/bone in the food, and getting the wrong type of meat in the dish. However, the customer service is delightful and are willing to correct mistakes with grace. Their food is fresh. The barbecue pork is unlike any I've had. Other places' pork reminds me more of jerky than freshly cooked meat, but here it is tender and flavorful. The atmosphere is cozy. It's pretty much what you'd expect from a chinese dining experience (at least in my experience). I will be coming back. Again and again. 💖

I give 5 stars because this place does everything right.Very nice people great service, I ordered sweet and sour shrimp, house fried rice and Mongolian beef nothing exciting.Well I was pleasantly surprised large shrimp not salad shrimp in the rice and lots of peas and carrots and 3 other kinds of meat. The sweet and sour shrimp were a solid 2 bite affair thin crispy outer shell, impressive. The Mongolian beef was so tender with lots of scallions and just look at the picture it's stunning. These dishes are my favorite comfort food and every place does them differently.I recommend trying the hot and sour soup.

Plastic divider between you and the cashier. No eating inside. Bar closed.
Chinn's does not deliver. They do have very timely call in / take out and are certainly worth the trip to pick up the the order.
