If you love the water then you'll love this place. Its kid friendly However they have a ridiculous policy for adult swim every 1 hour for 15 min.

Wow! What a oasis in the city! This community pool is stunning! We got in at 11:30am and it was very quiet. The pool was crystal clear and very warm. Lots of room to swim and play. It has a beach like walk in for younger kids and plenty of places to sit on the sides of the pool. There was a fun lazy river and a whirlpool part too. My kids had so much fun swimming! There are 4 swim lanes and a grassy area off the side for lounging or playing games. There is a concession stand where you can order hot food you can purchase as well as cold items such as soda, frozen lemonade and smoothies. Plenty of seating but tables with umbrellas go fast so getting there early is a huge plus! The lifeguards are young and some very unattenttive. Please keep an eye on your children because I did not have a lot of confidence in their abilities. I'm not including them in my rating, only the pool itself! I will say the lady at the front desk was very nice and greeted us like we were old friends! We parked in the garage at Piedmont and walked down, only 10 minutes and the car stayed cool, which was great on a summer day! For $10 for about 6 hours in the city, it was a great deal! The pool was only $5 a person. This was a great way to cool off on a 100° day!

Nice swimming pool in the middle of piedmont park. We loved the small lazy river. Check their website for member/general admission. We arrived during the member swim time and had to wait for general admission time, so we ended up getting food at the snack bar in front of the pool. Sometimes there can be a wait to get in, but it's never been too long for us.

No. They open Memorial Day
May 25
Yes, if you want to swim. Toddler's not potty trained must wear swim diapers which are available there.
No
The pool is scheduled to be open on September 1, 2022. Cashelle below is correct; the last day of the pool season is typically Labor Day. Please note there are currently limited hours due to a lifeguard shortage during school hours. Please visit https://piedmontpark.org/things-to-do/pool-and-splash-pad/ for more information.
Outside food is not allowed past the pool entrance but you can bring small snacks & drinks. There's a concession stand to purchase food & Tbh it's a bit pricey. Or there are plenty of spots in the park for you to picnic with your own spread that are near the pool.
No....
I was there yesterday and it was closed, however they were filling the pool with water. Hope this helps a little
To go to the Piedmont community pool is 10/20 dollars some times free for family's it is going to open up in June..
Yes the Center is open to the public it's free.
Pretty big. It has 4 lanes swimming area 25 yard. Then a large lounging area about the same size. Then a lazy river. 5500 square feet is my guess.

I don't believe the pool is heated. It's only open from Memorial Day til Labor Day so I'm not sure it would need to be heated
