Hiking spot with steep inclines and views of the valley. You can park at Grand Avenue Park, which is where you’ll access the trail. Dogs are allowed and we did see a lot of small children hiking. There are certain portions of the trail that seem near vertical, but that’s what makes this an effective workout. The trail does branch off to other short trails, otherwise, it’s a loop. The trail is clearly outlined, although there are some portions that have some overgrown mustard plants. There’s very little shade, so wear a hat & sunscreen. There aren’t any water stations or bathrooms on the trail, although you’re close enough to the park should you need those things

This is an awesome trail to ride. It's only a mile and a half, but don't be fooled. You'll get a mean work out. Plus, there are plenty of side trails if you're looking for more.

This is the best trail I’ve been too. It’s kid friendly.

Excep for the ocassional rattler on the trails its a good place to hike. Wear your trail shoes and expect some hills and switchbacks along throughout. Protect yourself from the sun regardless and don't start after dark without lights. Lessons learned....

No need to hike if you are willing to pay parking. Unlimited hiking trails if you're prepared. Sunscreens and lots of water 💧
