The loan process was fine. The error came at recording. They recorded my lien twice and now they are making me jump through hoops to correct their mistake. I started the process 2 weeks ago and they are telling me it will take another 20 business day to resolve. They never respond to emails. **Update** After placing a complaint with the BBB this error was taken care of very quickly, within a few days.

Fourth time using AimLoan . I got a 2.35 percent rate (15 year loan) last year. They’ve always made everything super smooth and easy. I hope they continue to be the best mortgage loan company for a long time to come . Christina Simeneta

I wholeheartedly would NOT recommend this company for a refinance. They lure you in with a low upfront quote (with a hard pull mind you) and then switch you up to a different pricing model with an excuse that they can’t offer the original pricing due to market instability and they need to charge points. They complain that they do this due to low profit margins. They feel comfortable doing this because they get you on the hook for $500 for an appraisal and expect you to be desperate for a loan. You ask why you can’t be offered the original pricing per the original quote and they magically have the most unsatisfactory excuse “market”. Save your time and go somewhere else.

I recently re-financed through AIM and all went smoothly for me. Recommend their platform for very easy origination process! Did not have to talk to a loan agent until I was able to confirm my rates after uploading some information online. Separately, I wanted to call out Marilinn Morales as an extremely helpful Loan Processor at the firm. She was helpful throughout the process, helping answer all my questions (and trust me, I had many). She was patient and walked me through all changes on rates leading up to the lock and final close. Definitely ask for her if you can because she will make your life very easy! Thank you, Marilinn, again for all your help, very grateful to have had a chance to work with you.

If your wanting to pay off the mortgage loan, it's simple. Contact the mortgage company and request a payoff amount. It will take a day or two but they usually provide the amount which is a good number for around five days. After the mortgage is paid off the mortgage company will return any amounts in escrow to you.
If it's already paid off, then yes that's totally possible. Just go to the website and start their process
