I came to Dr. Allsing and Mr. Baker in 2017 with the need of a total right-hip replacement. I was 21 years old at the time, and I am one of youngest cases to need a total hip replacement with Dr. Allsing. When I found out that I needed surgery for my hip, I was frightened because I could not believe that I needed a total hip replacement being so young. I was scared that I could never be the same. However, I was in so much pain before the surgery for years and it reached a point I could not bare it. So my primary doctor referred me to Dr. Allsing. Thank goodness! Dr. Allsing and his team made me feel cared for until the end. After 4 years since my surgery with Dr. Allsing and Mr. Baker, there are days I forget I even had the surgery because I feel better and no pain. Dr. Allsing and his team carefully review my case to provide the best solution for me. In one of my appointments with Dr. Allsing, he told to me "my job here is to find a way to help you", which is something that his whole team carries. I am forever grateful for Dr. Allsing, Mr. Baker, and the whole team. I would recommend them to anyone who needs orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Allsing and his PA Scott were informative and professional. The entire staff was helpful with all aspects of my knee replacement from scheduling the surgery and postoperativly. I would recommend Dr Allsing to anyone who needs a total knee replacement.

I am a trifecta patient of Dr. Allsing. I have had shoulder, hip and knee surgery over a period of years. I would not have returned for my 2nd or 3rd surgery if I didn’t have the greatest faith in the skills of Dr. Allsing and his office. I also know that they treat all of their patients with great respect. As an added bonus the staff sees the brighter side of life with their colorful socks and colorful computer mouse. These perks are a conversation starter and helps put their patients at ease. To me only a scrooge would not appreciate this effort. If I could I would give him a 10 star rating.

Reviews are so important! And Dr. Allsing and his staff don't get the kudos they deserve. I was skeptical of even making an appt because from the reviews it seemed like it would be chaotic and I would be disappointed with something. But the person who answered the phone was very organized and knew the P.A.'s schedule and the Dr.'s. I was on time to my appt and was greeted with my choice of Keurig coffee (as much as I would like to drink). They were on time bringing me in and took x-rays there. There's thank you letters in the patients exam rooms from previous patients/interns (Good sign). Dr. Allsing came in and shook my hand with a smile. I need a double hip replacement as I am bone on bone and in pain. My surgery was scheduled and 1 hip replaced to perfection because Sharp Hospital bought him a computerized arm to assist him in surgery so the new hip is placed in the correct way that's best for me and my body. The surgery scheduler Cindy goes above and beyond and even worked thru her lunch to get my surgery approved stat. (Who does that? she does!) My surgery was a success from the start to finish, if you need your hips, knees or shoulders done this is the Orthopedic surgeon that gets things done and changes people's lives in San Diego!I If you need an orthopedic surgeon & want someone you can trust you've come to the right place. He only does surgeries on Wednesdays but the office is there for you every step of the way! Dr. Allsing's office clearly works as a team for the best of their patients. You can even set your first appt with his P.A. as he updates the Dr. on all patients and their needs. Dr. Allsing has many many patients, he clearly is a backed Dr. by Sharp as Sharp is a big hospital. They believe in him, I believe in him, his team believes in him. If you make an appt you will no doubt believe in him. What are you waiting for? Make the call and change your life.
