I have moved 3 times in the last 5 years, and this was the best moving experience I have ever had. Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable, and understanding, knowing that moving is very stressful on the customer. Connie my move coordinator was fantastic, she checked in with me at every step from packing, to loading, and then delivery. The packing team took extra care of the items that were most important to me, and for the first time in 3 moves, nothing was broken. The driver made the coast-to-coast trip in the shortest time out of any previous move and loaded & unloaded with complete professionalism. I can’t say enough good things about this team and this experience. If I ever move again, it will surely be with Sullivan United!

We recently used Sullivan Moving & Storage for a local San Diego move. We had 3700 square feet of furniture, 4 closets full of clothes and a few priceless family pieces that we were nervous to move. Not to mention a huge trampoline, bunk bed and some other large and awkward pieces. This team was incredible! The gentleman showed up on time, with great attitudes and were so kind. They were fantastic about communicating with us prior to the move during the moving process and after. We felt very well taken care of during the pick of of our things and drop off at the new house. They were patient while we decided where things would go, and the packers were incredible that packed our closets. They even wrapped my newly painted banister so it would not get damaged as they carried furniture upstairs. I can’t say enough great things about this company and all the people we worked with at Sullivan. I would highly recommend them without any hesitation for your next move!

He did a great job explaining the process, outlining our options and assisting us along the way. He spent time walking through our home to ensure his price quote would be accurate when final packing was complete. Lisa Marie in the office was great at keeping us informed throughout the process. When packing for a move, United Van Lines recommends using a dish pack — an exceptionally sturdy corrugated carton of double-wall construction — for china, glassware and other fragile items less than 18 inches in size. Unless cartons of similar strength and construction are available, you might want to purchase several dish packs from us.

In general, soft things such as clothing, towels, sheets or pillows can remain in the drawers. It is best to remove anything fragile, heavy or that may fall out easily.
Moving companies do not typically sell insurance as they are not licensed insurance brokers. Instead they sell full coverage “Valuation” on Long Distance moves. By law, all movers must cover .60 per lb. per item. Ask us about additional protection options to ensure that your belongings are fully covered from unforeseen damage during the move.
A delivery spread enables us to have enough time to load and unload the entire truck and deliver to multiple locations. Your order for service shows the dates your household goods will be picked up and delivered.
