Great for young kids and adults alike. Lots of space for parties, cookouts and swings, with splash pads in one of the playground areas, giving you the option to get wet and cool off on a hot summer day. For me, I'm just happy to sit down on a bench with a book to read by the lake. One of my fav parks.

New shelter is nice. Clean bathrooms. Great place to walk, fish, play on equipment, or play in splashpark.

What a nice, beautiful, big, open public park with nice paths and scenery! There's a clearwater pond in the middle with seaweed and an abundance of fish! There are docks spread throughout the pond that you can walk out onto. There are native plants growing around the pond and in the park, in general! It looked like they were working on a native plant restoration project, which is great! I ran into an unexpected war memorial, at the park, which was really well constructed. There were signs next to trees educating people on the types of trees they are. I thought that was really cool. :D It's a nice park to have a picnic at. There were people hanging out on the grass, people walking their dogs, and children playing at the playground. It was a very inviting place.

I see people fishing in the pond all the time from the docks that appear to be for that express purpose.

Check the City of Middleton website to see about renting the shelter options.

Hi.. I read on their website that splash pad are accessible, free n open from 9 to 7 in the day. I want a clarification here...do they run water on splash too during these hours or there are specific hrs or u hv to request slots. How is it?

There are buttons you or your kid(s) can press to get the water flowing since it would be a waste to have the water spritzing if no one was there. It's a lot of fun and I highly recommend it! No request spots needed, you just go and have fun. :)
