We were lucky enough to have Karin Johnson representing us in the purchase of our new home in Redmond, Oregon. Prior to our first meeting, Karin got to know us a bit over the phone. When we met her, she had just what we wanted lined up. Her negotiating skills and knowledge of the market made the deal seamless. After our accepted offer, she worked tirelessly for us on new construction choices that we were not on hand to make. Her energy, design skills and knowledge of materials really improved the beauty of our new home. Karin was always available and responsive. Her generosity with her time and expertise went far beyond anything we expected or have experienced in buying or selling a home.

I was referred to Scott Huggin through a mutual friend in November, 2017 after my wife and I decided to relocate from Seattle to Bend. Before going into detail I’d like to say that he was excellent every step of the way and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a home in Bend. He knows the area very well and seemed more interested in making sure we understood all options, along with pros and cons, than getting the sale. As first time home buyers we did not know what to expect and Scott kept us feeling comfortable and stress free throughout the entire process. Shortly after we were introduced, Scott reached out to schedule a call. He wanted to understand what we were looking for, budget, our interests, etc. He told us all about the town and neighborhoods we could afford that fit our lifestyle. Later that day he sent a custom list of homes to look at online. As more became available, we got notified immediately with pictures and all the details you’d want to know about a potential home. We ended up scheduling a trip over Christmas break to look at several in person. We met Scott at his office and he had a number of printouts ready for us with details on all the houses we’d be looking at. After about six houses he could tell we didn’t love any of them. Probably would have settled, but he took the time to go look through more inventory with us at his office. Turns out a new one had just came on the market and he was able to get us in to look immediately. We loved the house and he worked late into the night drafting up our offer and few counters before we we’re locked in with the sellers later that night. It took about six weeks to get the keys in hand. There were a number of challenges along the way with findings in the inspection, unresponsive lenders, basically stuff that had nothing to do with Scott. He still took the time to help us get issues fixed, find additional inspectors, followed up with our lenders, did everything within his power to ensure we were happy with the end result and closed on time. We’ve been in the house for just over three months and could not be happier.
